Welcome to WASD20.net. This is my first blog post on the new site. I’ve had the YouTube channel for almost a year now, but a website is a new venture for me. So why this? Why now? Here are a few reasons I’ve been wanting a website.
Reason numero uno: Sometimes I actually prefer to write. Some of my videos honestly lend themselves better to text, and I’d like to have a place to put that text. Sometimes I might even make a video and then expand on it in a blog post, or vice versa. I’ve also had a couple other blogs before and I may even try to revisit some topics I’ve written about in the past. Either way, I actually do like to write, and I don’t think I’m too bad at it. So expect some great stuff!
Reason numero dos: I wanted to have a place to post the files and documents I create that others might find helpful too. You’ll soon find some of these on the ‘resources’ tab.
Reason numero tres: I want to get rich selling WASD20 T-shirts! I want to see that sweet logo (thanks to Captain Gothnog for that) leaping out at me from peoples’ chests everywhere I go.
Kidding aside, thanks for visiting the site and I hope you’ll stick around!
Congratulations on the new site! I happened upon here via one of your ‘how to’ videos on youtube. I myself have just returned to RPGs (specifically D&D) after a 2+ decade hiatus. I found your videos a great way of reminding me of all the basics in practice. Will definitely stop by again!
