Greetings, cartographers and aficionados!
Over the last several weeks, 36 maps have made their way to my inbox for the first Sellsword Summer Mapping Contest, and voting starts soon! I’ve had to adjust the schedule of the Mapping Contest a bit to fit with my vacation schedule. I’m headed out with my family for the weekend, so we’ll have a longer break between rounds one and two than I’d originally announced.
I’ll make announcements via blog post, Twitter, Facebook and perhaps even YouTube (see links on right side bar to follow), but you may want to mark your calendars or set a reminder to ensure you don’t miss a round of voting!
The Schedule
Round One – Wednesday 7/20 (6 am EDT) through Saturday 7/23 (6 am EDT). Voters will select three maps they feel should move on to round two. This will all be accessed here on WASD20.net in a blog post containing all the maps, a reminder about some of the contest basics, and a link to the ballot.
Round Two – Monday 7/25 (6 am EDT) through Thursday 7/28 (6 am EDT). Voters will select one of the three finalists they feel should win.
Announcement of Winner – Announced during a live event on my YouTube channel at 9 pm EDT on Thursday 7/28.
